I rode the Trek from home to meet Ken, Mark, and Keith at the tennis courts. We rode up the trail to the north end then turned back toward Travelers Rest. Less than 1/2 mile from the north end I saw my glasses laying on the side of the trail. I had them in my jacket pocket and thought it was zipped, but it was not. I also lost my mask that i use when I ride. We made it back to Travelers Rest and stopped at the TReehouse. They gave me a disposable mask to wear and I got my decaf cafe au lait and a brownie to take home to Cissi. We ate And talked out in the parking lot. It was chilly and I was overdressed riding up the trail. But it felt good riding down the trail. We were about 7 miles south of the TReehouse when I noticed that my cell phone wasn’t mounted and Strava was still off. My iPhone was in my pocket, so I mounted it back on the bike and restarted Strava. We rode out the Hincapie path and dropped Keith at Faris Road, then we came back down the Hincapie path to the park. I dropped Mark and Ken at the tennis courts then rode back to the stone bridge to pass into the zoo parking lot but some kid jumped in front of me when I was getting on the bridge then acted stunned that I yelled at him to get out of my way. If I had hot him, it would have injured both of us and tore up my bike. From there I got on Washington Street to Hillside to climb the big hill home.
