I rode the Trek from home and met Mark at the tennis courts. We rode straight up the trail. I got a battery for my Cat-Eye so it is working again. The ride was uneventful until we were north of TR were the wash out has been barricaded for several months. There was a dump truck and a excavator on the trail, so we walked across the grass and got on Geer Highway to ride beyond them until we could get on the trail. Once we were at the north end we went on to White Horse Road Extension and followed it back to Geer Highway. We took Geer Highway back to TR and the wind pushed us back. We wer running right at 25 mph most o the way back to TR. We stopped at the TRee House and I had my decaf au lait and a fruit cup. We rode back down the trail and took the Hincapie Path to 1st Baptist parking lot then back to Gardenview. We climbed a killer hill on Fernwood Lane and trails End. I dropped Mark at the tennis courts and went by the zoo parking lot to Washington Street then climbed the big hill on Hillside.
