A near accident at the ride start as I ran into Gene on the downhill in my driveway. My right pedal contacted Gene slightly above his left ankle. We had started down the driveway when I looked down briefly to start my Garmin. I had not noticed Gene had come to a near stop. Thankfully there was no damage.
The weather was perfect if a bit breezy. We passed by Challi's house at the 32.5 mile point on the way back. She was out tending a garden as Jerry called out "Looking good!" Another great tour with Jerry, Gene, and Bill.
