I took off after church and rode across town to the park and up the trail. I rode out to the north end and onto White Horse Road Extension then turned back. I thought that I was riding well going up the trail, but ran into a stiff headwind north of TR. When I turned back that headwind was a tailwind and it blew me down the trail. I stopped at Furman to call Cis to meet me at the Cafe for lunch when I realized that I didn't have my phone or wallet. A girl that was stopped there called Cis's number and I told her to bring her stuff with her. The girl asked if Cis was buying lunch and I said that she is now!! I saw Ken D and Bill D and somebody else riding north then later I saw Tom and possibly Steve Y heading north. I met Cis at the Cafe and we split a bacon, egg, and cheese on stecca bread. I had an heirloom tomato/basil scone with sweet tea. I had several glasses and tea and water. Cis had a peach/pecan scone that I finished off. Good food!!
