Today I drove to Furman to ride so that I wouldn't get to far away from the vehicle. I rode from there to the Cafe then turned back north through Furman, Travelers Rest, and to the north end of the trail. Then I turned back south through TR and Furman and south to the Cafe. I saw Bill D while riding south. I stopped at the Cafe and had a BLT (bacon, lettuce, and tomato with arugula and special sauce) with Barbecue chips and sweet tea (6 or 7 glasses) follwed by 3 or 4 glasses of ice water. Then I had a peanut butter and chocolate chip cookie. On the ride from the Cafe to Furman I came on a pair of hand-cyclists and chatted with them a bit.
