Today I was lost as to where I wanted to ride. I left the house and headed down East North toward the trail, but at the I-385 interchange there was a mountain biker broke down. I pulled off and he was Googling how to install a chain on his bike. He didn't know that the chain was broken and it had no master link, so he would need a chain tool to repair it. I told him that he would have to take it to a bike shop and they would fix it in no time. He lived a couple of miles from there, so he was going to walk it home. I rode from there and decided to head up the trail. I rode to the Cafe and got a Philly cheese sandwich with roasted root veggies and iced tea. I also got a pair of choclate chunk cookies - one for me and one for Cis. While there my Cafe friend Ugur stopped to talk. Then Steve S came in as well. I finished eating and headed back down the trail. I ran into Cato and Ken about a mile south of the Cafe. I took a different route home trying to break in some new roads.
