After church I put on my riding clothes and took off to get in a quick quarter. I rode across town to get on the trail at Hudson. The weather is moderate and the trail is crowded with a lot of new riders. That makes it a little more hazardous riding, but it's good to have new riders out there. I rode up the trail and to the north end. Along the way I had two instances of people yelling my name, One was Cato. The other turned out to be Steve, Ken, and Tom. When people do that, they are on muy blind side. I can see that people are there, but making out faces is a lost cause. From the north end I came back down the trail and cut through campus at Furman to make sure that I had 25 miles before I was at the Cafe. I stopped at Furman for a drink and to refill my water bottle. I called Cis to meet me at the Cafe for lunch. I was still about 20 minutes out. The Cafe cycle parking was overflowing badly. I waited for Cis to come in so I could put the bike in the car. I had a BLT with some watermelon cubes, a blueberry scone, and a bottle of blueberry/pomegranate with cinnamon. I also filled that bottle several times with water.
