Today I took off to do the Sunday ride from the zoo up the trail and back. When I got to the zoo Cato was there. Mark showed up then Ken and Steve S. They got ready to go and I rolled out first. I looked back after about a quarter mile and nobody was back there. I soft pedaled through Cleveland Park and Falls Park, then up the trail to Willard Street where I gave up on the group and took off. I rode all the way to TR and stopped at the Forest. I had a slice of coconut creme cake and bought a macademia white chocolate cookie for Cis. I drank a bottle of creme soda and a couple of glasses of water. Nobody showed up so I left. I ran into the group on the south end of TR. I also ran into Taylor Harbin's mother and step-father leaving TR and spoke with them a minute. I headed back down the trail. I am still working on spinning verses mashing. I have to concentrate to spin as mashing seems to be more natural. On the ride up the trail I ran into Jackie from the Cafe riding her bakfiets With one of her kids in the cargo seat.
