 Faster today!
Making the effort creates gain. If not victory, then certain measurable improvement!
Today was a fast commute into work! Work commutes can be reasonable training for longer rides -the effort put into a 30 minute ride determines the training benefit effect. Then too, Long rides such as last Saturday' 14th HCT, seemingly helped my speed on work commutes! The legs feel like jackhammers.

As we progress through time, there is this process of aging. In this process of aging, effort needs to increase over time in order to maintain a level of proficiency. It is impossible to rest on past accomplishment. The expectation of holding on to, or reaching a higher standard of achievement will only be realized with continuous training effort.
