 Campbell's Covered Bridge
After a late night I was up early to drive to North Greenville University in TIgerville to help Ken and Don with the set-up for today's ride. I was in charge of the preregistered table. Riders that had preregistered needed to sign the waiver, get a cue sheet for their desired route (23 or 50 miles), get a card for the barbecue meal after the ride, and prepare for the ride. Once everyone was in and we had cleared the set-up Ken, Mark, and I took off far behind the rest of the riders to do the short route. We rode for a good while then came on a group of four sitting along the side of the road. They were just resting along the way.

Then we came on a group of two where he had flatted and was having a time getting it baack together. We stopped and helped Stuart with his flat and got him back on the road with us. While there I found an old mailbox in the ditch. Ken needed a flag for his box, so he reoved that one and put it in his pocket. We rode along until we reached the bridge. There was a rest stop with drinks and snacks set up there. We had the snacks and enjoyed seeing the bridge.

We rode along and Ken found a bike for sale along the road. It was an older Fuji. Ken and Mark both buy, repair, and sell older bikes. They looked it over and Ken bought it. He was going to return after the ride and pick it up. After that we had a group ride on us and had missed a turn and ended up behind us.They had added about 4 miles to their ride. We rode along together - Ken, Mark, Stuart, me, Mary, and the Momentum kids that were with her. We also had picked up a couple of other riders along the way. When we approached the end of the ride, I took a wrong turn purposely to get my mileage over 25 miles to get in another quarter. After the ride I enjoyed the barbecue plate from Mike and Jeff's.
