 Another Ride
Today I headed out to get in another quarter. The wind was clam when I left the house, but it really picked up into my face while I was at the Cafe. I fought it on p the trail, but when I turned around it was a crosswind. But by the time I was at Furman it had turned to my back and was giving me a big push down the trail, but when I stopped at the Cafe going south it had turned around and was in my face going back. I rode from the house to the Cafe and had a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with a cup of coffee. I also had a peach shortbread with it. I rode on up to across from the Tandem Creperie and turned back south. Once I was back to Cleveland Park my legs were just plain tired so I called Cis to come pick me up so that I wouldn't have to climb the big hill on East North Street.
