 Weekend Ride
Today I took off to get in a final ride over the weekend. I stopped at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and had a cheddar and kale scone with a cup of coffee and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. I also bought a peach scone to take home for Cis. I headed on up the trail with a quick stop at Furman to speak to Officer Mike, then it was on to Travelers Rest to the north end of the Trail. I turned back south and found the trip south a little qucker then the trip up the trail. I stopped at the Cafe again to speak to Officer Mike and headed back to the house. My seat is broken nearly in half so I plan to stop at TTR for a new saddle on Tuesday. The saddle that came on the bike was a low quality saddle and it has lasted 14.5 thousand miles. I have been looking at a Brooks B-17 saddle for a while, so it's time to upgrade.
