Today I rode from the house and met Don H, Steve S, and Ken at the tennis courts at Cleveland Park. We headed up the trail to get some miles in. We detoured off the trail at Willard and rode along the old K&K warehouse, but got right back on the trail. We pulled off at the Cafe to make sure that Ken was okay and I heard someone yell my name. Jeff and Debbie R were there, so we talked with them for a while. Then we headed back up the trail. We got off at Furman and I rode to the ticket office to try to get baseball tickets while the guys circled the lake. I couldn’t get tickets, but a guy asked if he could take a picture of me in my Peanut M&M jersey. I got back to the trail kiosk the same time as the other guys did from cicling the lake. We rode on up the trail where we saw Cato riding south. We turned around across from Sunrrift Outfitters and stopped at the Treehouse Coffeehouse. I got a cup of decaf and some cookies to bring home, but I snacked on raisins, dried cranberries and cherries with mixed nuts. The ride down the trail was uneventful. We saw Jeff and Debbie going north then saw Cato headed north. We left the trail at Washington Street and went over the hump bridge. Don left us after that and we got back on the trail. We left Ken at the tennis courts while Steve and I climbed up Hillside together. Steve turned off at Woodlark to go home while I dropped down Hillside and made the big climb up to Overbrook. It was a nice ride today.
