I rode the Trek from home down to the parks and out the trail. I passed the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and went a mile north to Blue Ridge Drive. I took the sidewalk to some back streets, the cut through the Sans Souci neighborhood to Old Buncombe Road. From there I went to Velo Valets and stopped in to talk with Nate and Carlo. The I cut back through Sans Souci to Mount Calvary Baptist and the Swamp Rabbit Cafe. I stopped there and ordered a roast beef sandwich on a bed of lettuce and no brad. I also get a carrot cake doughnut with German chocolate icing to take home for Cissi. Kimberly came in while I was eating and I went out to meet her friend Mark. I took Washington Street and cut across the north end of downtown and climbed the big hill on East North Street to get home.
