This morning Bill and I set out to ride to Cleveland Park and beyond. Bill had a new route and I saw some streets that I have never seen before. We came out above left field of the ball field and took Woodland Way around the park. We cut across town and rode to Linky Stone Park. From there we rode back through Falls Park and Cleveland Park then took the big hills back to Bill’s.
After I dropped off Bill I drove to the tennis courts at Cleveland Park and headed up the trail. When I crossed Sulphur Springs a young guy rode by me and comments on the Surly. He and I rode together for a couple of miles. We had a very strange conversation and during that time he vented about his life issues. I urned off onto the Furman campus and circled the lake. I went by the Furman football and they were tied with ETSU 10-10. I left Furman by way of the Vinings and headed back to town on Old Bumcombe Road. I followed it back and cut through the Poe Mill area. From there I worked my way back through downtown and into Cleveland Park.
