| Comments: North River trail to Portland, then crossed over. Took the south trail back and crossed over at the skate park. Forget the street name. Was going to go around the barrier near BARK and ride that trail for a bit, but there were too many construction trucks. Frustrating to see the increase in homeless people living at the river. And it's even more frustrating to see the increase in trash because of it. There are so many programs in OKC, but I don't know if any of them are doing any good. |

| Comments: Got up late so I didn't do as many miles as I wanted this morning before the ribbon cutting and subsequent group OBS ride. Plus it was already hot and humid. I wasn't going to do the ride with the group but a gal I just met talked me into it. I took off last, which is very fine with me. Well, except for Tony, who was taking photos. The group started out quick and pretty much stayed that way. I did catch up here and there and passed Rachel for a bit, but didn't try for huge speeds. Tony, Rachel, and one guy I don't know and I all hung out together, which was very nice of them. Glad I did the ride because now I know how to get back to the river trail via 4th street and the Walnut Street bridge. Easy peasy. |
