| Comments: INCREDIBLY frustrating ride from hotel at Orange Beach Wharf to Fort Morgan and back. Horrible traffic on way out at 0730, shoulder covered in hurricane debris and TONS of construction traffic. Was a nervous wreck from traffic, then dragonfly flew up my sleeve at start of return, AL closed the state park trail, crashed when I tried to find a low traffic short cut from a grounds worker pulling in front me, then had to return of HWY 180 into a dead fucking headwind. TONS more headwind then tailwind. RIDE SUCKED!!! 400' |

| Comments: MoB ridw with: Steve W, Steven J, Tim, Zach, John Gabriel. Went at a moderate pace to pace Tim. Steve W was bored senseless...lol Broke up into 2 groups, Steven J, Tim and I in one group, others added bonus miles past nursery. Warm humid clear day, steamy for me by end. Steven J and I sprinted to catch a paceline on Morton Road. After paceline pulled off route I maintained speed until bladder and knees dictated another stop in Katy. Lunch afterwards was good.. ;-) 400' |

| Comments: Chatfield Ride on a cool, somewhat blustery cloudy hazy afternoon. At least 10F colder than forecast, probably much cloudier than expected. AQ = 50-55. Went hard on 1st lap, got passed coming up marina hill, then passed him on the downhill/flats, held him off until top of dam climb. Got the old "you're fast on that thing...[for a fat guy on a recumbent]" Lost interest on 2nd lap. 900' vertical Not sure why I was over 1 mph slower than Sat... |

Wind was all over the place... 5-20mph, S-E-N, exploded on 2nd lap from N, instantly blew in wildfire smoke. Right knee was a little sore but not horrible. 1st ride on new less-cheap Chinese carbon wheels. Front wheel hop 1st 34 miles, then re-seated on tubeless rims, rode fine after that. 1,200' vertical |
