Comments: Solo Waterton Canyon followed by jeep trail to Chatfield. Right knee a bit tweaky by end, but a nice after fighting headwind up the canyon, but I cleared the steep section, not the single track at very top. EXTREMELY crowded when I finished. Liked the additional 6 miles to Chatfield. 700', felt like more

Comments: Chatfield ride on a clear, cool but quickly warming morning. Insanely crowded at the park, backed up to C470 when I left. Felt half decent, no mechanical issues on CA2. Randomly had inside lip swell although nothing bit me, stopped a little early. 1,000 vertical

Comments: Another Chatfield ride on a clear cool morning, with misc wind, but quickly warming. Felt good until break at 41 miles, then right knee briefly had sharp pain, but took it easy till it felt better. Felt decent by end. Again no mechanical issues on CA2. 1,200 vertical

Comments: Solo Waterton Canyon on a horribly violent gusty windy morning, of course headwind up the canyon. Right knee very sharp pain at end, turned around before Chatfield. Made it to the dam, then almost made very top of steep section. 600' vertical

Comments: Well, that ride SUCKED!! Right knee hurt from the 1st mile. Then shifting went to shit while riding on shitty pavement, into a headwind, going upriver. Had to take it easy to somewhat save the knee. Then crashed around mile 40 on one of the many needless roundabouts on the trail. Landed on left side; deep hip bruise, skinned left knee and elbow, but saved the bike for the most part. SORE AS HELL afterwards, sore back, hip/ass. 900' vertical

Comments: Solo ride from Chatfield, Wind yet again 200% - 300% above forecast. Took it somewhat easy to save knees. On fixed Carbent with Frog pedals from CA2. Everything worked fine. 87F by 0930, very crowded at park, so I stopped early. 900' vertical

Comments: Woke up at 0200, rode from Chatfield at 0606 where I was immediately cockblocked by car traffic leaving the parking lot. Cockblocked 8 times total. Wind from S, SW, W, then N? and 300-500% higher than the foretasted 4mph. Knees hurt most the first 8 miles uphill into the headwind. Felt like 25+ miles into headwind, hills, headwind and hills, but knees were manageable. 1,200 vertical

Comments: Now standard ride at Chatfield on a very crowded Sat morning, but very clear. Wind was building and shifting but not bad at all. Knees held up until mile 43 but then loosened up again. Thighs felt good. 1,100 vertical

Comments: Durango ride on vacation. 1st cold mile, straight into a blaring sun on shitty pavement, lost taillight. Had loose cleat issues, for some unknown reason, had to tighten many times. Nice road on way in. 1,100 vertical, nothing steep except 1 short section.

Comments: Norwood to Near Gateway, CO ride on Bday. Stopped only a few miles from Gateway when I had a tailwind, should have finished!! Rained on donkey rock climb, took it VERY easy to save knees after hiking 9 miles in Telluride day before. Knees were actually OK. 1,100 ascent, 3,300 descent

Comments: Waterton ride on a beautiful but randomly violent gusty morning. 0-35+mph wind, headwind 1st 7 miles up canyon and last 5 miles from Chatfield. At one point, could barely go 7 mph @155bpm into headwind during last mile. Cleared top of steep climb but totoally gassed. 600' vertical, seemed like MUCH more with all the headwind.
